SPARSH NETRALAYA was established by Dr Sandeep Arora DNB, DO, FRCS (Glasgow) Executive MBA ISB Hyderabad, Consultant Ophthalmologist, Cataract, Cornea & Refractive Surgeon. He was among five ophthalmic surgeons in Gujarat with prestigious FRCS degree and also third in state with Surgical fellowship in Cornea transplantation.

He has been in ophthalmic field for the last 20 years. After his undergraduate training from the reputed SMS Medical College Jaipur, he completed postgraduate training from M&J Institute of Ophthalmology, Civil Hospital Ahmedabad. Following which joined Senior Residency at renowned Aravind Eye Hospital Madurai (1998-2000) during the same tenure successfully submitted thesis on “Limbal Stem cells in cases of Ocular Burns “and was awarded the Diplomat of National Board in Ophthalmology by the National Board Of Examinations, New Delhi.

He went on to be a Clinical Assistant with pioneering and dynamic Corneal, Refractive surgeon Mr Sheraz Daya , Director, Corneo Plastic Unit , Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Trust, East Grinstead, UK . I was also conferred the reputed FRCS in Ophthalmology (Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow)
